Description:

Better Together® 2025 is a national community conference bringing together people from across Australia’s rainbow communities, alongside allies, advocates and organisations.

Over two days, we create space for honest conversations, practical workshops and thought-provoking ideas. Together, we explore the challenges facing rainbow communities, share what’s working and learn from one another.

This year’s theme, “Shared Heart, Different Minds,” invites us to lean into difference — not to agree on everything, but to understand each other better and to imagine what’s possible when we stay in the conversation.

This isn’t about one voice or one issue. It’s about recognising the diversity of our experiences and working collectively toward change.

Tickets are available with tiered early bird pricing available for a limited time. Scholarship options are also offered to encourage participation from a wide range of communities. Our inclusive approach prioritises access for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, regional and remote attendees, seniors, refugees, and Deaf and Hard of Hearing participants.

In partnership with The Long Walk, Better Together® 2025 will commence with a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony at this location which is opposite the Adelaide Convention Centre on the other side of the River Torrens/Karrawirra Parri, off War Memorial Drive, in a grassy area known as Pinky Flat. It is opposite Tennis SA on War Memorial Drive. The opening ceremony will be followed by a “mini Long Walk” to the Adelaide Convention Centre for the start of the Opening Plenary.

Pre-Conference Event:

On the 30th October, 2025, the 3rd annual Rainbow Leaders Summit will be held in Adelaide. Learn more here.

Post-Conference Event:

To close off the conference, on the final day on Saturday 1st November, we will be joining the annual Pride March organised by Pride Adelaide.

The 7th National Rainbow Community Conference, Better Together® 2025, will be take place in Kaurna Country at the Adelaide Convention Centre on 31 October to 1 November 2025.
