Our vision is a world that values and affirms all LGBTIQ people as full citizens.

The Equality Project in Auslan.

The Equality Project is a new, national organisation bringing together LGBTIQ people with our allies across the social justice movement, to advocate for a better, more just, and fairer society for all.

Our biennial conference, Better Together, will create a space for our voices to be heard and a platform for collaborative action.

Better Together 2018

Apply for a scholarship.

The Equality Project is offering a limited number of scholarships to advocates who would otherwise be unable to attend Better Together 2018.

We welcome LGBTIQ advocates from the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, people with a disability as well as the Deaf community to apply.

We respectfully acknowledge the Wurundjeri people, the traditional owners of the Kulin Nation, this land that we meet and work on. We wish to pay respect to their Elders — past, present and emerging — and acknowledge the important role all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people continue to play within Australia. We acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded.
