Victorian LGBTIQ+ Leadership Program

  • Melbourne, Victoria, 3000 Australia (map)

We’re thrilled to announce that The Equality Project, in partnership with the Victorian State Government, will be delivering the next Victorian LGBTIQ+ Leadership Program.

This exciting initiative is a leadership development program that builds and develops the leadership skills of LGBTIQ+ participants in a safe, supported, and inclusive environment.

Designed for emerging LGBTIQ+ leaders in Victoria, this leadership development program aims to grow and strengthen participants' leadership skills in a safe, inclusive, and supported environment.

Participants will explore how to develop and apply leadership in LGBTIQ+ communities and organisations to achieve better outcomes and drive change.

The course will be delivered over 8 weeks through both in-person and online sessions between February and March 2022. Applications are now closed for the 2021-22 cohort.

As a participant, you’ll develop your own style of leadership, learn how to build meaningful relationships with other leaders, transform your thinking to build agency, learn to adapt to complex challenges, and explore the impactful ways you can create change in your own community or organisation. And so much more!

Explore new ways to push yourself as an individual and an LGBTIQ+ leader in your organisation and community.

We encourage LGBTIQ+ Victorians from regional and rural areas, multicultural and multi-faith communities, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and people with a disability to apply.
