We’re growing the Better Together model into new, focused gatherings. The first of these is Better Together Women — a one-day gathering for women in Melbourne, created in collaboration with The Equality Project and The Long Walk.

Better Together Women is designed to create space for honest conversations, shared learning and meaningful connection across generations and communities.
A Meaningful Way to Mark International Women’s Day
March is often a time when organisations and communities reflect on International Women’s Day (IWD) and consider how to celebrate women’s leadership and contribution in a way that feels genuine.
Better Together Women takes place in the same month as International Women’s Day 2026, offering a thoughtful and energising way to mark the moment.

Grounded in First Nations ways of truth-telling and being on Country together, the day is co-designed with Aboriginal women from The Long Walk. That foundation shapes the experience in meaningful ways.
